Bring the magic of the great outdoors into your school with Rusty Robin and the gang in Explorin’ Michigan!

Adventure is callin’, so get ready as Michigan’s state symbols come out to play and lead kids through a forest full of fun and facts about the Great Lakes State! Meet Pebbleena, a Petoskey stone you shouldn’t take for granite. Play a game with Michigan’s state game mammal, the white-tailed deer. And be ready to sing along to a campfire song, but beware, a hungry wolverine might be sleeping nearby! Get ready to learn all about the mitten state and all the things that make it great while discoverin’ the importance of teamwork and havin’ some good ol’ fashioned fun you can only find when you’re Explorin’ Michigan!

With a focus on Social Studies, Explorin’ Michigan ties directly into 3rd and 4th grade curriculum, where Michigan students begin to learn about their home state. It’s also an exciting introduction for Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders, as well as a fun review for 5th and 6th graders that will help students engage with familiar subjects in a whole new way! The show, which runs approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, invites students to become campers on an exciting adventure, where teamwork wins the day, and everyone is welcome!
